As part of the University of Baghdad’s commitment to ensuring transparency and fairness in the admission process, the University President, Prof. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, accompanied by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Suhail Najm Abdullah, attended part of the admission interviews for new applicants to the Colleges of Artificial Intelligence and Excellence, held at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf.
During his inspection tour, the University President emphasized the importance of field supervision to ensure the smooth progress of the admission process, praising the efforts of the academic and administrative committees in conducting the interviews efficiently and in accordance with the principles of fairness and transparency.
He also stressed the need to select the most qualified and well-prepared students, both academically and psychologically, to engage successfully in university life, in line with the university’s vision of preparing a creative generation capable of meeting the demands of the modern era.
The visit included a tour of the main hall and several interview rooms, where the President met with faculty members and prospective students, listening to their feedback and observations. He reaffirmed the university’s ongoing commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters innovation and excellence, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4: Quality Education and 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
